Job Overview

In the role of Legal Researcher, you will provide vital legal support by conducting research, analyzing regulations, and ensuring compliance across all Southwest Media projects. Your work will help safeguard our creative initiatives and business operations, ensuring they align with industry standards and legal requirements.

Responsibilities

Conduct thorough legal research on relevant laws, regulations, and precedents.
Analyze and interpret legal documents and provide concise reports for internal use.
Assist in preparing legal briefs, contracts, and other documents as needed.
Support the legal team in ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
Monitor legislative changes that may impact the company’s operations.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in law, legal studies, or a related field.
2+ years of experience in legal research or a similar role.
Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Familiarity with legal databases and research tools.
