As a WordPress Developer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining high-quality WordPress websites and plugins for Southwest Media. You’ll collaborate closely with our creative and marketing teams to build websites that enhance our digital presence and deliver seamless user experiences.

Responsibilities

Develop, customize, and maintain WordPress websites, themes, and plugins.
Ensure site performance, speed, and responsiveness meet industry standards.
Collaborate with design and content teams to implement new features and functionalities.
Troubleshoot and resolve website issues, ensuring minimal downtime.
Stay updated on the latest WordPress and web development trends and technologies.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, web development, or a related field.
1+ years of experience as a WordPress developer.
Experience with popular WordPress builders (e.g., Elementor, Divi Builder).
Proficiency in PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and MySQL.
Strong knowledge of SEO best practices and website optimization.
